Places text placeholders in the sheet. These placeholders will be replaced with the appropriate text values when the new print model is created at placement time. They can be used to store custom information for the print such as project number or name or system defined values such as date and time. MicroStation variables can also be used. For example _DGNFILE can be used to place the current file name and folder in the final print model.

• Variable — The value of the MS variable will be placed at creation time.

• Userinput — The value of the user supplied input will be placed at creation time.

• Function — The value of the selected function will be placed after print model creation.

The replacement text node is placed with the text style: Print Preparation Text. The attributes (size, font etc.) of the text node can be adjusted after placement or can be adjusted by modifying the element templates defined in MS_GEOPRINTPREP_DGNLIB as described in Print Preparation Administration Tool.
